NEXCLARA

Five stages, no black box

Every step of the decision is visible, configurable by your teams and traced. That is what makes the explanation exact rather than plausible.

The decision chain

At every stage, the contribution to the result is recorded separately.

  1. 1

    Exclusions

Your knock-out criteria apply before any computation. If one triggers, the chain stops and the reason is explicit.

  2. 2

    Features

Data becomes variables. A missing value is flagged as missing, never quietly replaced by an average — absence is information.

  3. 3

    Score

Expert scorecard and learned model, combined with a weighting your risk department chooses and can change.

  4. 4

    Adjustments

Collateral, trading history, sector: your policy modulations, each one traced.

  5. 5

    Decision

Outcome, amount, duration, collateral and the level of delegation required to approve.

Move a slider, watch the decision move

Four features, a scorecard written out in the open, and a total you can reconstruct by hand. It is exactly what CLARITY produces on a real application — except that this scorecard is illustrative.

572 / 1000

Outcome : Manual reviewConfidence : Medium

Why this score

  • Scorecard base520
  • Credit inflows+42
  • Length of trading+30
  • Debt service ratio-17
  • File completeness-3
  • Total572

You start with no statistical history

Most statistical approaches need thousands of historical files before they produce anything at all. NEXCLARA is built to work from day one on a scorecard that reflects your actual policy, calibrated with your teams. The learned model then takes over, gradually, under your control.

No historical data is a precondition to going live.

The weighting is a setting, not a fate

The share of the expert scorecard and that of the learned model move with your history. Your risk department sets the dial, and can move it from the interface with no development work.

  1. Day 1

No statistical history required. The scorecard states the credit policy you already apply.

  2. 6 to 12 months

Your files accumulate. The learned model starts contributing, under supervision and without ever becoming opaque.

  3. Maturity

The history is in place. The scorecard remains as a guardrail and as a reference for explanation.

Replay a policy before you activate it

Before a change of rule, threshold or weighting applies to a single real file, it is replayed against your own history. You measure the exact impact: how many files would change outcome, in which direction, and for what volume of exposure.

No head of risk should change a credit policy blind.

What a policy change cannot do

  • Nobody approves their own change: sign-off by a second officer is structural.
  • An activated policy is versioned. Every decision references the exact policy, scorecard and model versions that produced it.
  • A decision is immutable. A reassessment creates a new decision linked to the previous one, never an overwrite.
  • A file whose completeness is insufficient cannot produce an automatic approval: it is routed to review.

Six modules make up the operational platform

Five further modules — alternative data, early warning, fraud detection, portfolio analytics and assistance — switch on afterwards, without service interruption.

  • COREExplore the module

CORE runs the five-stage decision chain, deterministically and reproducibly. It is the module that turns an application into a substantiated outcome: approve, review or refuse, with its terms.

  • CLARITY turns every decision into ranked factors. It is the module that carries the brand's name, and its promise: a NEXCLARA decision is always defensible.

  • LINK converts any heterogeneous source into a single pivot model, with quality control on entry — and returns the decision to your systems along the same path, in reverse.

  • DESKExplore the module

DESK is the single interface for handling an application, from entry to decision — including where no technical integration exists.

  • TRUSTExplore the module

TRUST traces consents, logs every decision and every access, and produces the reconstruction files an inspection asks for. Cross-cutting, present from day one.

  • ADMIN is the console through which your teams create credit products and change rules, scorecards and thresholds — with no code, and without asking us.

One engine, two distinct economics

Commercial banks

The stake is portfolio performance. Real-time integration with the core banking system, or batch.

Microfinance institutions

The stake is reaching clients who could not be assessed at all. No technical integration is required: assisted entry is enough.
